ORBIZ, AESCHENGRABEN

Styling and plant concept for the new Flexoffice Orbiz, Basel. I was commissioned with the styling for the new Flexoffice. With my concept I would like to set selective accents and bring some "life" into the partly monotonous everyday office life. Selected accessories should not only please, but whenever possible, a use, respectively a higher purpose convey. Oversized hourglasses stand for time limits at meetings. Wooden chopsticks promote creativity and exchange among employees.  Colored storage bins are reminiscent of vegetable baskets in the field. The shelves, which are freely distributed in the floor plan, are each decorated in their own color palette and define the different office zones. In choosing the products, I placed great emphasis on sustainable and, as far as possible, local production. The colored storage containers are made of recycled plastic, the glass vases are handmade in Interlaken and the hand-painted vases come from a family manufactory in Willisau. The public zones are enlivened with plants, whether small plants on the shelves or large pots to complement the architecture and furnishings.
